Patient Facing Apps for Patient Access & Empowerment
MedicaSoft’s HealthCenter PHR enables patients to access their electronic medical information from a web-browser or native-mobile app on Apple or Android devices. It supports a variety of digital identity credentials and may be implemented with IAL2 or equivalent identity services. Audit logs are also included, as well as support for patient consent preferences via the FHIR Consent resource.
Our HealthCenter PHR is an established, mature product that has more than 100,000 current users. Our PHR is modular, untethered to any particular EHR, and is ONC-Certified. It is implemented an operated in a manner consistent with HIPAA Rules. Each instance is deployed in a dedicated, HITRUST-certified Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) at Amazon Web Services.
Data Availability & Standards Compliance for CMS-Aligned Networks, Providers, and Payers
MedicaSoft’s solutions are end-to-end FHIR solutions. Data is ingested in common formats like HL7, CCDA, and EDI, and then converted to FHIR for storage in a database that uses the FHIR data model. Data may be returned in machine and human readable formats, including USCDI v3. Responses to queries, including patient appointment and encounter details, are returned from queries to the FHIR API in near-real-time. Bulk FHIR and terminology compliance are supported.
Network Connectivity & Transparency for CMS-Aligned Networks and Providers
MedicaSoft’s NXT Platform is an eHealth Exchange (eHX) validated and certified solution that includes responder and initiator functionality. Initiator functionality is delivered via our Provider Portal’s user interface. Metrics for queries to eHealth Exchange are available from our audit logs database.
